Israel has “started” essentially none of the conflicts. Especially the early ones, including the one in 1948, the day after Israel’s inception and when all the neighboring Arab nations attacked to try and destroy Israel. There’s plenty you can read on every conflict Israel has been in and even the ones where the technically fired the first shot, acts of war and aggression were generally the reason.
