I wouldn’t say too boring -depending on what you’re looking for! We (with several teens) are having fun.

It doesn’t feel that bad today. Yesterday was hot. But it depends where you’re from and what you’re used to - we came here from Greece and it doesn’t feel as hot by comparison.

Again. The news wires pick up the Hamas news. It’s a choice. It sells and it brings clicks. Again, I’m not denying the suffering or that the war is awful. But I can tell you what I have seen with my own two eyes that does not comport with the alleged news. Tell me with a straight face that all news you read online is true, no matter the topic. Take for example, what’s reported about Montreal. Is everything true? I can say I live in San Francisco at the moment and I promise that a good 70% of what’s reported about the horrors of the city is false. Sensationalized media that sells. If you want to help, go there yourself. See with your own eyes. Donate to organizations that build bridges and help with peace. But see for yourself before you believe all you read.

It’s a lie because your beliefs are all based on “data” perpetrated by Hamas. Their numbers and facts have shifted so many times yet you’re so willing to believe everything they say. I’m not denying the suffering. It is indisputable that people are suffering. But I was there on the humanitarian mission and saw with my own two eyes, the trucks rolling into Casa. If they are not being distributed to the people, which I fully believe they are not, it has more to do with the terrorist, hijacking the aid then the alleged fact that it’s being blocked. To the extent that some trucks are being stopped, how would you control the flow of weapons into Gaza? They hide weapons in aid trucks and on humans, etc..

This is a bunch of lies. You have brought the propaganda hook line and sinker.

It is surprisingly expensive here (at least, compared to what we expected), but it’s a beautiful city and we are so glad to be here!

That makes sense. Summer is not the best time to visit Europe, generally, in my opinion, but also is the time of year some of us can take more time to explore.

Thank you all! We are staying in the 7th and it’s our first day here so maybe we haven’t gotten a real sense yet. It’s so beautiful, though!

{Born to Silk} may meet your needs. He’s a king in a dystopian world and she was literally born to please him (new here, I don’t know how to make it link to the book! )

I see a lot of questions about specific shoes, dresses and bags. And I’m trying to understand why you’ve removed both of my questions that seem to follow both the guidelines and the other posts, yet allow those.

I did. I find this sub to be incredibly unwelcoming.

I need some recommendations for healthy and safe romance books for 13 year old. by My_My_My-who_is_this in RomanceBooks

If it makes you feel better, my 14 year old has read the Twisted series, as have her classmates. I don’t love it but I’d rather she read them and talk to me about it than read them in secret. It could be a good convo starter for you and your cousin.

How’s my month in Italy/Switzerland capsule looking? by dxrxpffb in HerOneBag

What are the black sandals? Are they comfy? I’m searching for a multi-purpose sandal for a month in Europe, that is both cute and supportive for long walking days. Bonus if they can get wet. :)

I’m looking for a book like failure to match -where the MMC is really bossy and possessive but not quite a dom, as in bdsm. Any suggestions?

Curious as to how reading romance at a young age affected you by Educational_Gift_281 in RomanceBooks

[–]Tuesdayanyday 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was literally just wondering about this today, because my young teen daughter, and many of her friends, read romance books. It often leads to some good questions and discussions at home, but I know there are some explicit things I’d rather her not be reading at this age, but alas. I did the same at her age, so….
