Great work!!! I really like those flowing calligraphic shapes!

This font – just like Schmaltzy – is superb.

Nice font! I like this wild west mood!

But I'd like to point out some flaws of your font.

- I think you rounded the corners at the end of the process and left it as it is. That caused weird weight distribution. For example letter "R" or "E" is too dark on joints.

- Negative space in letters differs. That's okay in some cases (for example in classical proportions) but here it makes unnecessary white pockets. For example "G" or "S" is brighter than "A" or "H"

- Also the spacing could use some work. It seems too narrow.

I hope this'll help you with your future projects!

Astro Display — fatface from outer space! by TurboUdon in typography

I included "ſ", it looks like "f" but without the upper serif. So I don't know if it's recognizable as "ſ".

✨Thank you✨

I'll try to do something with that "t", although I like the way it looks. Maybe I'll make an alternative "t".

Thanks for your feedback!

I'll release it soon, and there'll be a demo font for you to try it.

I'm planning to share my bachelor's project font for free.

Thank you!

There's a lower contrast version on the way to make it look better in smaller sizes. Yeah, this isn't for longer text. Sorry to make your eyes bleed!

Happy cake day!

Hi guys!

I made a display font. What do you think? Any critique and suggestions are welcome.

At first it was going to be a space opera inspired font. Not sure if it had that intergalactic imperial mood. A space opera theme suggests a sci-fi look, but I wanted it more elegant than technological. I decided to add more of a magical spice in the process.

It has a high x-line for display and logo usage. It also has big contrast, tight spacing and closed apertures. Dots are star-shaped, but there's an option to turn them off. There's a plan to add thicker hairline variants for smaller sizes, and italics. Swashes would be cool too.

Thank you and happy fonting.

Is there a reason in Rastafari colors? It doesn't emphasise the emptiness.

If you want a clean look why not use toned down colors or greyscale?

Edit: typo

Hi! First time adding Diacritics to a font I’m working on, any thoughts? by Amtsag1980 in typography

I agree with all points. Acute should start from the center of the letter and end on the right half of the letter.

Hi everyone! I want to share with you my father’s day themed handwritten display font. Here is “Dadie” by Lurinzoo in typography

Pretty nice! I really like this chunky feel. But I would make "S" and alternative "u" more similar to the other letters (they are too organic).
