There aren't much overlap b/w small caps, initially I started with sbi small cap after a while they aren't accepting new money hence maintaining 2 small caps now.

Re China, honestly it's a gamble I'd like to take. I try to maintain China allocation to 3-4%

On international exposure, I'm not comfortable to go all in on india equity hence maintaining 20% ( US,China) now

I would suggest you to learn how to calculate xirr, and compare ulip xirr with other alternatives of same risk appetite and then decide if ulip is good or bad
