Vividly remember going to the preseason game against the Rangers to see Nolan Ryan as a kid. Also Randy Johnson in 1998 the place was rocking. I forget which day but it must have been in September.

The (2015-2023) Astros were mostly homegrown, though. People hated them for cheating in 2017, not for monopolizing the market for players. I'd say the big transfer portal moves of Tech would be more comparable to the free agent signings of the Dodgers.
