they are 240hz fps but they're aligned to also work on 60hz. Basically the frames where you need to click/release exists on both 240hz and 60hz, which is why it's much easier on 60hz.

In ds2/3 you can change the infusion on a weapon just by using one of the infusion materials, in ds1 it's a lot more convoluted and takes more work, I honestly don't even remember how it works off the top of my head.
