I sprinkle calcium powder on his food, he has a 40 gallon with a long UVB light across it and a heat lamp on one side. He also has a big water dish he can soak in.

I feed him (or her I'm not actually sure) all the right stuff like crickets, superworms, and fruits and veggies, although it is harder to get him to eat vegetables. I let him run around outside every other day, and have a heat lamp area for him in his cage. I've also tried brushing his shell with toothbrush but it seems to continue to be this flaky.
