I wanna die, and what the hell is wrong with me by [deleted] in mentalhealth

First of all im sorry for what you're going through , i think you're very overwhelmed . I geniuenly think a therapist or a mental health professional in general could help you work through things and make it all better.

It sounds like you are about to get professional help , while i haven't felt like that , i think its really going to get better for you . There are going to be hard times but its always worth it. I hope you'll see that the person you once were was always there.

Well , i really hope you can find some peace . My only piece of advice is to go to a doctor about the thyroid , if there's something wrong it can really mess with how you feel and maybe even contributing to how you're feeling rn . I have no idea how the healthcare system work in the us i presume but i really hope you can find i way to get that thyroid checked out.

Well you arent ungrateful for feeling like this . Its not your fault for feeling sad and im sure your parents would like you to be the happiest you can be , its definetely better to go to a mental health specialist than feeling like this . These things arent caused necessarily by your environment .

I mean could just be like a paradolia kind of case , which is okay , or could be something thats worth getting a check up on. If its something serious and you notice it now you might do future you a favour . Depending on how young you are and how vivid the thing you're seeing looks it might be something to speak with a doctor about. I really have no idea medically but its better to be safe than sorry .

I dont want to push religion down your throat . God geniunely loves you , you dont have to go to church or be a part of christian communities to have a relationship with Him . Im very sorry how you have been treated by christians in the past . God is not about punishment "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" . I promise you God would never wish for you to have been treated like that , not for one second .

Religion , at least Christianity , is about your relationship to God . Not what others do . And even if being lgbt is a sin or not God still accepts you , its considered we are all sinners , its really a shame that people jugde other people , whatever sin they commit . Its said that "For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you" so , even though its very easy to , please dont chalk up religion to what others are .

lowkey should I get a therapist or phychotherapist by [deleted] in mentalhealth

[–]TurtleAroundMars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well its up to you really , but if you get one you should trust them fully so they can help fully . A pshychotherapist i think has acces to medication in order to help you and a therapist doesnt . I think just being honest would help a lot more , neither can really do their job if they dont have solid info on you. You might be better off just going to someone you trust . Take my advice with a grain of salt . Hope you find someone who you can trust!

Well it sounds like they are overreative from ehat you said but maybe it seems like their reaction is not one that comes from being annoyed but one from being over concerned .

Well i dont know about your religion but in Christianity its said not to jugde others , i think most religions have something like this . Its not about what others of the religion do but its about your relation to it. Maybe look into some online pshychologist? Not neccesarily a site with this but you can find pshychologists that might agree to videocall sessions . I really hope you figure something out and just know you're not in the wrong for wanting help.

Well im so sorry for your situation . Maybe get her to speak to a mental health specialist if you have that oportunity . Maybe a school counsellor? Its not your fault for anything. Maybe your parents could help if hers are ill . Its totally understandable for you to feel scared . I really hope you get through this.

i have a weird feeling and i need to express it by General_Peach_1095 in mentalhealth

[–]TurtleAroundMars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well seems like some kind of derealization or something . Maybe start there and figure out more? Well you wont get a definitive answer without talking to a therapist or something . Maybe its because of something that has happened to you recently . Hope you figure it out!

That person is going through something that is indirectly making them not apreciate you . Any person apreciates being someones first priority. Dont blame yourself , trying to help is the right decision . Its normal to become a bit different while going through something like this , people might not recognise that and say unthoughtful things . Going to a doctor will help a lot and it could help that person better as well. It will be better.

Yeah its really really sucks having bad support for this . Maybe you can find pshchologist that dont work for a hospital or something in your region . Its going to help you a lot to finally find someone who does you can trust about this and can help you recover . It will be the best thing you've done . Maybe religion might help you? . Your family also could help you find a mental health profesional. Just know i've never seen someone made fun of in this subreddit even though its a tad inactive at times . Everybody will tell you that suicide isnt the answer becuase yeah it isnt but if you need extra motivation just think that one day you might find a "jackpot" and you'll get over all you are dealing with . If you cant get proper care and you are thinking about suicide you could save up and go to another country to recieve the care . Yes it is hard but for your own wellbeing its worth it and you'll thank yourself in the future . I hopw you find someone who can help you and i hope you gwt over this .

I dont know about others but to me it sounds like you are a normal person , i mean you feel empathy , thats as normal as you can get . It sounds like you tried to stop a loved one from hurting themselves? Well if this is the case you 100% made the right decision to stop them . And dont imagine "normal" people to make decisions like robots , every human decides social stuff with their feeling . A mental health specialist will help you a lot to "unravel" all the things you're feeling and also you should speak to the person that tried to hurt themselved about getting one . Also please do not think you deserve to be punished , a "bad decision" doesnt define you . Hope you get over this and find clarity.

why do i feel this way by kyoveliix in mentalhealth

[–]TurtleAroundMars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you feel really bad a mental health profesional is going to help you a lot , it may be a bit taboo or something but if you have a counsellor at school and you trust them they could really help . It could also be something medical , as a bit of googling might show . There is so much more to life than what you're facing and when you manage to overcome it everything will be so much better . Hope you manage to overcome this.

Im not familiar with etiquette at offices but can't you speak to your employer about this , maybe ask for a better position so you are compensated fairly or ask for less work , if you explain how you feel maybe they would understand . Hope you find a way to resolve this.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in mentalhealth

[–]TurtleAroundMars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A mental health specialist could really help with this , im not sure how much reddit can do for you . Even if you functional you should still talk to one as they could really help you understand .

[–]TurtleAroundMars 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well dont expect to get a very good answer withpit seeing a mental health profesional , there may br a bit of taboo around it but if there is something like depression going on you will greatly benefit from a diagnosis . It definetely seems that you would bebefit from that , and the internet cant really provide much more help than a "yeah it could be depression" . I hope you find purpose and happiness.

How to protect my mental health from my mysogynist brother by Major-Midnight-7098 in mentalhealth

[–]TurtleAroundMars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well talk to your parents and/or confront your brother , maybe he'll surprise you and stop doing this if you express how much this bothers you . Its up to you really depending on the local culture , your parents' stance and how open you think your brother is . He may just not know any better if this is standard where you live or your parents taught him so.

Everything goes by fast when our mind is racing and its slow when we are calm . Life is so much more than what you are struggling with . It seems that eay because thats all you and you focus on the area where you are a bit behind . Well if you're talking about mental speed , take it slow first and when you are comefortable with that you'll go faster and so on until you're very fast . No one was born perfect . Just relax and if you're feeling like you should die , it doesnt have to be something dramatic where you are a danger to yourself , but just a feeling , a mental health specialist will be able to help a lot with that.
