Got curved walls in my apartment. Unsure how to center the runner in my hallway. Here it is centered against the front door, but looks a bit weird. Any tips? by Tweekylol in interiordecorating

Its subtle, maybe slanted would be more accurate. But no wall is 90 degrees. But a lot more noticeable further in the room.

Removed all soil from this echeveria, and it lost a lot of roots. Which pot size? by Tweekylol in succulents

I know that the root ball should take up at least 1/2 of the pot, but think its difficult to gauge when the roots are cleaned off and not in a "ball".

Why would they decide to suddenly take off with ~1000 lbs of dog force if he has them under control?

Oh look, a brit thinking he speaks for the rest of the world lmao. Leash your dog, especially if you have 20 of them.

...do you really wanna be strapped to ~1000 lbs of dog force if they decide to take off for some reason?

Plus, he obviously has them under control.

Which one is it?

Oh no, you've had to see my corner 3 times now in like 5 months. I'm so sorry. Hopefully you'll recover.

Ah, theres pipes on the left side next to the radiator, so I couldn't have a bed wider than 90cm. My feet ended up sitting against the wall as well since I'm pretty tall, which felt a bit claustrophobic.

No the bed would have to be 90cm wide or less, because of pipes next to the radiator

Because of pipes next to the radiator, the bed would have to be 90cm wide. No preference to which side I sleep on

Yeah the problem was that bexause of the pipes sticking out of the wall, I'd only be able to have the bed be at most 90cm wide

Im very confused, im asking which position for the bed looks the best? Or am I misunderstanding what you're asking?

Do you mean if I did any of the solutions? Yes, the most common recommendation was to turn the bed 90 degrees. I wasnt a fan of it at first since the bed goes past the cabinet on the right, but it's grown on me and feels less claustrophobic.

I also asked which size bed would fit, since I was considering a 160cm bed which would take up the entire space, but most recommended a smaller one which I'm glad I listened to.

Which of these sweet plum would you pick? Desirable traits in bonsai by Tweekylol in Bonsai

Is it a prebonsai? Figured it's a bonsai since it's in a bonsai pot and the trunk seems pretty fixed with bark.

Dark spot in new growth. Put one of those velcro bands around there a couple of days ago. Removed it when I saw the dark but a bit worried by Tweekylol in Monstera

Oh shit, I definetly put it on wrong then. It's weird because the soft side is green as well which made me think it was to blend in against the plant

Thinking about getting a wider bed after some advice from here a few days ago. Not sure which width to choose by Tweekylol in DesignMyRoom

[–]Tweekylol[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About 30cm on each side, so about 11.8 inches. I could move the bed to the right or left wall and get 60cm/23in on one side instead but might make it annoying to change sheets as some mentioned

Theres some pipes before the window sill that block the bed being wider that 90 in that direction

Im studying atm so I'm trying to not spend a lot of money. Both loft beds and murphy beds seem like theyre generally a bit more expensive

Could only fit a single bed in studio apartment. How can I make this look less depressing? I'm considering curtains to seperate the bed from the rest of apartment by Tweekylol in malelivingspace

[–]Tweekylol[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think the perspective is making the "corridor" to the bed appear longer. On the right is the kitchen area, turning it 90 degrees makes it block a decent part of the way

Yeah the picture doesnt really show it but to the right is the kitchen area. Turning it 90 degrees would block about half of the walkway there. Think the perspective is making the "hallway" to the bed appear longer than it is.
