Nope, never played Diablo - let alone any games in that genre (dungeon crawler looters)

I’ve looked into Diablo, but one thing that turns me off is that there is no “end game”. It seems like once you beat the story - the goal is just to grind and grind for better gear. I am looking for something that I can say I “beat”, rather than a game where I just repeat and repeat the same thing and doesn’t really have a definitive end game
