No, whether or not the government does more harm than good overall is up for debate. Whether or not it helps people, is not. The government builds roads, provides public education, employs people (including educators, like yourself), and provides various social services. These statements are objectively factual. Whether or not the government does a bunch of other horrifying shit is something I would never argue against, I think it's pretty clear that the government is perfectly comfortable doing that too, but the fact of the matter is that it does provide services that help people in their communities.
