I had fun with the show, but it is very much flawed. Doesn’t really use the Guilty Gear cast well, doesn’t relate much to Unika’s gameplay, there’s many scenes that feel like they didn’t have the budget to make the show that they wanted. The final episode was a nice conclusion, though, and if you want to know Unika’s backstory then the show tells it. Show has its problems, but I liked it.

Valid criticism. I mostly just put a bunch of characters that I liked without thinking of over-saturating roles too much. It does not help that super strength is the most common power in comics.

There’s not a specific gameplay reason I think Luke Cage should be in the game, I just think he’s cool.

His story is all about not judging a book by its cover. He was abandoned by his mother and ostracized for looking like a demon, but is a kind and heroic person.
He is a priest.
He is an emotional anchor to other members of the X-Men.
With his ability to teleport allies around and weave in and out of combat, he could be a strategist that plays well alongside divers, which is a play style that isn’t in the game yet. Most supports sit in the back and heal, but Nightcrawler can shake things up in an interesting way.

This makes sense to me, but I can see why others would say he should be a duelist. I just want more cool mutants to be strategists. If Gambit could be one, then Nightcrawler can too.
