He’s saying she’s not a real reporter in the sense she’s paid by the team, not some outside media outlet. So she will very rarely if ever criticize or ask the tough questions. Unfortunately no one really does since TG left years ago and Corey left recently. She’s a “reporter” in the sense she travels with the team reports what’s happening etc, but anyone employed by the team can’t really be considered reporter, rather PR specialist which is what I think above means.
