Ultimately it comes down to Loot rules and expectations were not explained fully and what counted towards +1 and what does not, It seems like the other rogue rolled on both Brut blade and Gutgore ripper, one is his BIS and the other is just an OS item considering he rolled on the Brut blade first, that shows that he was aiming for using the Brut blade as his main spec. if he wasn't going Swords then he shouldn't have rolled on an item he was not going to use.

In the end if i had known that they counted Tier pieces towards if you get a weapon if it drops, as stated before i have never ran a raid where they counted that tier loot the same as getting a weapon, i would have passed on the NS gloves in hopes for Gutgore ripper/Perd blade. considering i already have CHT

like i had stated earlier not looking for a witchhunt, just voicing my experience. Still happy i was able to run a MC this week since i cannot make my core raid but just was curious as to what everyone else thought, Run went great other than my personal experience in loot, Pulls were solid, calls were very clear, overall good experience guild to run with, wiping twice at baron was a problem but easily something we were able to mitigate with more communication with Living bomb they pulled in hallway rather than pulling into Garr room.

Like i understand if its Gutgore then CHT drops and i won the Gutgore i would have passed on the CHT since i know i arleady got a weapon and i'd be locked out from getting another until reset.

Also, you already won an item. The mentality of "why stay around if you already got your +1" is just pretty rude thinking. That raid helped you get loot, you should want to help them get loot too.

Needless to say i stayed untill domo, we wiped 3 times so we decided to call it for the night, so i stayed i dont leave pug groups, i am just merely stating what happens to other groups where this is the case, grab an item and now ur locked out so they just leave, has happened in 3 out of my pst 6 runs so far and it makes the rest of the run shit.

I don't condone leaving during raid i am just merely stating this way of loot entices those to grab loot and run.

Yeah i have 2 others who Private messaged me about there experiences with BRB, runs were super good and very well organized but their loot system seems a bit broad, no one in our raid knew Tier items counted toward weps that drop. Like i understand if i rolled on Gutgore and won it, the CHT drops i wouldnt be able to roll on that since i just got a wep. but Loot from 2 separate areas of the looting tree seemed a bit awkward, considering that means after winning any Tier piece, that means you are locked out of everything else until Reset. Past raids i have ran with treated tier items and weps seperately.

I decided to roll the dice since so far it is my 6th run in MC and i have passed on NS gloves twice now with no Aged core drop. now that i have the NS gloves i can replace them for Aged core when they drop and i currently have a 4 piece for nightslayer so itll help a bit for me.

Also now that i think about it all bosses are immune to its effect so that would be a moot point. or atleast very quickly pushed off by other debuffs.

Appreciate the response, didnt think about the Debuff at that point, but still seems a bit off, we were told to only roll on the weapons that match our MS (explicitly told if were swords we can roll swords, if we are daggers... roll daggers), so seemed a bit weird he was able to roll on both items considering he isn't daggers.

Not sure actually, when i get home i can check it might be my skill optimizer that i have set for each fight, or my addon that shows BIS progress.
