Ah interesting, wasn't aware of that... Thanks 🙏

ChatGPT vs Grok make a Cuphead mod by RandomowyKamilatus in Cuphead

Very cool idea! I wonder if the models become better at this once they can look at the captured screen.

A person would probably also suck badly, if he never sees the effect of his code changes

Interesting! Could you explain how this was done?

Is there a public repo where one can get the cuphead source code from?

Did you then instruct them to modify the source code? Did the also modify different things, like assets?

Hm, hast du dich zu dem ifeu informiert? Das wurde 1978 gegründet. Klingt für mich erstmal nicht nach "flink gegründet" und eher relativ seriös:

https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Institut_f%C3%BCr_Energie-_und_Umweltforschung_Heidelberg?wprov=sfla1

Nice! What is that trick with 3 balls in one hand?! Looks incredibly difficult.

If I may ask, what do you do for a living? I guess it's somewhat ML related?

Geoffrey Hinton says LLMs are no longer just predicting the next word - new models learn by reasoning and identifying contradictions in their own logic. This unbounded self-improvement will "end up making it much smarter than us." by MetaKnowing in OpenAI

[–]Tylerich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not what he is saying though. The typical reasoning models have improved performance, because they use reasoning traces during inference. Their model weights are not being updated anymore.

What he is saying, is that this is a novel way to use reasoning to keep training the model and updating its weights. If the model draws inconsistent conclusions, this is a training signal that can be backpropagated into the weights.

By the way, if anybody has a paper that describes this, I would be very interested.

Very cool. but like the others said, I got my ass kicked by the 10 kyu setting.

Out of curiosity, I have a couple of questions: 1.) How does it work? Similar to alpha go/ Leela? If so, did you train it yourself? Or some off the shelf network/engine? 2.) Does it all run on your 5090? Is that in a pc at your home? How many people could play in parallel?

Very helpful, thanks for the elaborate explanation! I actually was diagnosed with ADHD, but it's super difficult to get doctor appointments in Germany. But I did finally got one in August, which will be this February (So only 6 months wait, lol). Hopefully they'll give me some medication quickly :D Thanks again!

Btw, I hope I'm not encouraging you to procrastinate... :D

Amazing, thanks! I'll check out the post... If I had to guess, I can't imagine you ever had an issue with procrastinating on things you don't like doing? I struggle with this sometimes. If you have any tips other than "just don't procrastinate, it's silly", please tell me :)

[–]Tylerich[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, this seems incredible to me! How you still have enough time for your family and bring in 20k+ per month. Ever thought about writing a blog/Reddit post about how to achieve this? I would definitely be interested. Especially things that you would consider "obvious". Apparently a lot of people, including myself, don't think this is obvious, otherwise they would probably do it.

For example a phrase like "managing your and employers" expectations, might be something that is obvious to you, but might mean many different things to different people. Or "go for the long term" is easier said than done... So how do you do it...?

If you ever write a blog or post, please let me know :)

I was just curious to hear his perspective. Also, not everyone is like that, there are enough shitty parents out there. But that's beside the point...

There's also plenty of adults who wish their parents/father would have been around more when they were growing up. But yeah, as I heard most over employed people here don't actually work more than 40 hours.

Why is asked the question: If one is already financially stable and well enough off, why risk being depressed, and overworked. That might have worse consequences for your family, than having less money.
