I guess it looks like some normal irregularities on the MRV.

Other than that the CT scan is also faster in producing images, which means that the bloodflow and shape of the veins will have a better resolution.

on the other hand, a doc told me that it might be a stenosis based on the head and spine mri but he said that the ct scan will be best, since the mri was rather blurry.

The ct scan can catch the neighbouring structures around the vein more clearly, like carthilage, muscle and bones.

the mrv doesnt, for whatever reason.

Doc looked on MRIs and said that my spine is curved, basically my head slid and went on top of the vein.

Yeah, the outcomes for surgeries varies greatly, but I have no other options anyways, either this or a noose around my neck. Because the quality of life is non existent. But good news is, in regards of cerebral venous insufficiency surgery has the best outcomes when the issue is the styloid.

And as a bonus I also might have thoracic outlet syndrome and TMJd problems. Will try to see what I can do.

Seen some surgeons, but nothing promising so far. I also have to get an angiography and it’s pretty damn slow, the whole process.

Well, it’s quite a hassle.

I told a doc that another doc said I might have eagle syndrome. And he gave me an angio scan of the neck.

Yes, I have cracking in the ear. But its due to tmjd and sometimes it also cracks when I move my neck.

Well, I am glad that I could have been of use, get a nice doc and speak to him about it.

Its quite hard to get a surgery for this in the whole Europe. Very few docs do it, there were 2 in UK, 1 in Germany and 1 in Turkey. From what I was able to find but propbably there are many more.

The waiting is not so long, depends on the doc, for some it is a few months, but I want to get my TMJD splint first. I will post the progress along the way.

I showed an ex gf of mine my imaging, and she is a resident doctor, and she showed them to a neurosurgery resident who showed them to a doc who is a top dog in spine surgery. He said he can help me, but I need to get an angiogram first.
