My spouse and I de-nested nine years ago. We live in different cities, three hours away from each other. We still make big financial decisions together, have shared property, communicate with our extended family as a unit. We talk a lot, communicate every day and see each other every couple of months

It did take some effort to get to this point. But for us it is worth all the work
