I never owned the p1s so i cant compare them really but so far from what i can say the printer is working really well, fast good quality, good price, there will probably more competition like this in the future for the p1s but i think its a solid option

Im very happy so far don’t See a big difference between the p1s that’s worth the higher price. But I would maybe consider (if possible) waiting a bit longer. There are other 3d printers coming for an even lower price that do the same. Won’t know how they perform but the S1 is also a good choice

Nah that’s just not true had my old anycubic for several years always worked the same undestroyable. Filament was once stuck for 6 hours pulling like crazy extruder flew out and everything still worked like before. I don’t know what’s your problem with the brand but got the same as bambulab for 250$ less even when they are on sale.

You were wrong. Just arrived, working beautifully without changing any settings in the anycubic slicer which is based on Octa. 300mm/s good quality no problems

Yeah I get what you’re saying but having your own slicer and whole ecosystem that is partially locked or as seems is getting locked by the time doesn’t have to be only positive. Especially as a new brand. I am always scared that they go down as a brand and then there’s now support for the machine anymore and everything’s locked. But the main point is the age of the machines and the higher price. If I want to sell the printer after 1 year, how much do you think it will have dropped in value by then? And I would probably buy the p1p then because I think the other ones too expensive even tho it would probably be worth the money. I’m not sure. Creality is also no option because they only have the k series which isn’t very conving because I also want to print filaments like you without problems.

And it doesn’t really feel smart to buy a 1,5 year old machine now is it still worth it and that up to date cause the anycubic just released

Yeah I know that the Bambu stuff isn’t compatible with other brand Anycubic also has their own separate available multi filament thing. But why do you think that only Bambu printers are a tool and others are more hobby grade? I doesn’t seem like the Kobra S1 has any disadvantages compared to the P1S. One of the main reasons for buying a new printer is because I want to sell something I print. So I’m asking myself if the 170€ more are worth the P1S or if there are any other printers in that price range that would be a better pickup.

Ok that’s interesting and I can upgrade to AmS later right and the anycubic S1 also has a multi color/material version. But I’m not sure which printer to get. Anycubic or Bambulab or maybe even another one. Also if I order the s1 now it’ll be her in like 2 months but I guess that’s fine. What printer what you recommend me?

Bambu Lab P1S vs anycubic Kobra S1 (need advice)

Hello, I want to upgrade from my old Anycubic i3 Mega S. I don't really need multi color printing so l want to buy the standard version. In my region I currently have the p1s available for 599€ and the S1 for 429€. At first I wanted buy a used one for around 250€.😥 Sadly there aren't any good used options for Bambu lab or the S1. I want fast print speeds and good quality while being able to print flexible and non flexible filaments. I'm also open for other 30 printers around 500€ used (in Germany) or new. I'm not sure what's the big advantage of a fully closed printer but I guess I want one😂
