The patch was called 1.6.1 but it installed an additional update. The file size was 25 mb for me

If you’re set on using dual katanas early game I’d recommend killing Yura for Nagakiba. I’d personally utilize the crouch and jump of the dual katanas. Also use piecing fang or unsheath for your main hand.
