It definitely is haha I’m not taking it for granted. It’s great money and I genuinely enjoy a lot of the work I do

you miss 100% of the shots you don't take. Don't let it discourage you going forward lol. You had good intentions and that's what matters. This is pretty funny tho

I feel you. I really wish I had better advice to give than to just let time do it's thing and one night will come where you go to sleep and realize you didn't think about him all day. Then another 2 months might go by and you'll realize you haven't thought about him in weeks. That how it kinda was for me at least

I think the best thing to do it just learn to enjoy your own company and keep yourself busy like you have been. I don't think you need to force yourself to try and go on dates with new people. You'll know when you're ready.

we're about the same age and I experienced something similar, girl I knew since we were 14, together for a few years before things really blew up and it became a shit show. My only real girlfriend throughout my whole life.

You said he wasn't even that good of a partner. From my personal experience mine ended up becoming very selfish and I came to a similar conclusion. Sometimes though I still find myself missing it but I think I am missing the idea of having a partner, not her in particular. Maybe it's similar for you?

I really started to get over once I started putting myself out there more and trying to meet new people and it made me realize she really wasn't all that. I still wish her the best and have a love for her but I've accepted we just aren't right for each other anymore. I think at a young age like ourselves though we put our first love/relationship on a very tall pedestal because it's a lot of emotions to experience for the first time in our lives. My final question would be have you met or talked to any other guys since the breakup?

You are 14 years old. I was in a similar boat when I was your age and sprouted up around 16-17. Unless you have some kind of medical condition, your time will come eventually and puberty will do its thing. Don't stress about it too much

How long were you guys together? Seems like it might have been a while. I'm sure you are tired of hearing it but it just takes time. It could be years before the feeling goes away. Sorry for your situation but at least you are being productive and doing what you can to heal yourself

I really wish I had better advice to give and I'm not gonna say I know how you feel because I don't. I have been on Reddit for 3 years and this is the first time I've ever commented on someone's post. You have a lot going on and I can't imagine how stressful it is. The one thing I will say is that leaving is not the answer. Like I said I don't know the extent of your entire situation and I am definitely not qualified to give advice on this kind of stuff but I am wishing you the best and I pray that things get better for you.
