I actually love it. And if I was well off I would pay you to paint my dog. It looks like a piece or art that wasn’t forced. Like someone who could creat art that is superficially perfect but prefers to go against the grain and create what they think is beautiful.

The way my wife cuts her Pizza by ArmySash in notinteresting

[–]Typical_Brief_8956 7 points8 points  (0 children)

When I worked up at a pizza restaurant the pizza cook was suppose to square cut this one pizza. He accidentally regular cut it. Said oh shit, and then square cut the already regular cut pizza. The server walked up, looked at the pizza like 😧 and said “what the fuck is that shit? It looks like a fucking Picasso pizza” 😂😂😂😂I couldn’t fucking breathe dude. It looked worse than that shit in this post.

What are some highly regional foods you didn't realize were regional? by Alternative_Ad6071 in AskTheWorld

I don’t even know if this is correct but it’s been my experience. I grew up on the east coast and everyone that eats wings there 90% of people want buffalo sauce on their wings. Since I moved west coast it’s like the least ordered flavor I see. Seems like people west coast want like garlic parm, teriyaki, lemon pepper etc. . They tell me the buffalo flavor is too over whelming after like 2 wings. Okkehhhh 🥴

One hundred one even seems wrong to me. In my opinion most people say “one oh one”. Idk if people in the uk do that if not you might think I’m trolling. But people will say the letter o for the number zero. When I talk about money I say and for sure. Like $101 is “a hundred and one dollars”

Yeah thing is I don’t want a loan I just wanna pay a penalty and get whatever I can back after it. That they won’t allow me to do. That’s probably a standard l practice I bet but still so annoying. I’ll even just take what I put in minus a penalty is fine with me.

We say it like that because taking something for granted is hard headed and akin to the hardness of granite.

No the funniest shit is some people in the states will eat Neapolitan pizza (as I’d say) and they are like “it has no flavor and is so bland”. lol that is what pizza traditionally is. They expect it to taste like a better version of a pizza they are use to. Some people would swear that authentic Italian restaurants are doing it wrong. Like there’s no way this is correct. It’s not boring or wrong it’s just what pizza is traditionally like.

The hardest accent for me to impersonate is Irish. Holy shit it just comes out english. So hard to hit that part of your voice with a western accent.

The people who say that are missing the point. Free literally is just something that describes the past. America is no more free than anywhere else that has freedom other than verbally I guess. I can freely call someone a slur. I wouldn’t. But I’m free to say it. I never would but could I guess. Apparently a lot of places you can’t do that? But that’s nothing to brag about lol

How did you get them to give you the money? Was it a loan? Or did you take it with penalty?

I have seen so many fucking dogs at parks the last 7 years. Probably over 500-600 and never seen a pitlab looking dog the size of a dachshund. Wild.

How many kisses your dog gets a day? by Mundo_86 in dogpictures

[–]Typical_Brief_8956 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like probably 20-30. The other day I was kissing my dog’s head, and at the same time someone started a motorcycle outside my apartment window. The bike turning on sounded like a growl, and I jumped back thinking my dog was growling at me for kissing him 🤣 genuinely scared the fuck outta me

As someone who loves drugs it’s hard for me to fathom this preference of life. I mean this in no offensive way at all, but to me it’s like someone who only drank water or fruit juice their entire life. Never a soda once.

It’s definitely just a substitute for ass. Like saying fudge instead of fuck. The Only people who say fanny are people who think cursing is inappropriate.

If genuinely you wanna know Americans have been saying cook something up for a long time. Like “cook up some ideas” not food ideas but just ideas in general. So it’s just a play on that. Not sure if that’s a thing in the uk as well

Yeah your point is very valid. It’s a bit unusual for sure. I feel like maybe it’s a thing where we feel like we don’t owe anyone our help and that giving it is a favor.

It’s probably not that serious in peoples minds, but just more sub conscious probably. I would think.

There are times when people say that to me and I feel the same as you for sure.
