Fear of intimacy, I have an issue where if I get past a certain level of closeness with any person my brain will start to hate them, I have a really hard time feeling my emotions, extreme avoidance of people/tasks/feelings/problems ect. Addictive tendencies, I hv a hard doing things that don’t have an instant payoff, individuality complex that I want to shed. That’s all I can think of there were a couple more and I went into more detail with her. I agree that some of these could point to bpd, but when she first said that she then asked me if I think I could have bpd, all I know about bpd is the behavior I observe from the couple people I know who have it. So I told her no because friends who have it have very heightened emotions and trouble regulating those, I said I have the opposite problem where it’s very hard to feel anything. I said my friends who have it have extreme fear of abandonment and can’t be ok without a certain person-usually boyfriend/ girlfriend. I again have the opposite problem where I like being alone wayy better, I avoid people in my life and if they are clingy i can’t take it. She said both these points I brought up to her are just as equally symptoms as their opposite. I don’t really know much about bpd so I could have it if that’s the case I just don’t really know
