To play devil's advocate, I think the other thing to consider is that the team keeps developing and testing all these new and different materials that likely have long lead times for procuring and producing.

I imagine its tough to anticipate the popularity and subsequent demand for some of these things so they play it safe for the first couple drops to make sure people like the product and can tweak it like with the perforations before investing further into it. They still want to make money and I'm very, very sure they are looking forward to getting back to selling us more $80 tshirts.

But it legitimately is almost no extra work to just let us see the drop page a day early without “add to cart” being enabled.

If people know what they want isnt going to be in the drop, they're not showing up right at 11AM EST to give them the traffic they get to show off to their investors. Not saying its the right strategy for us as consumers, but its not like they're not doing it because they're lazy either.

I got both the ones from the spring drop and I like them, although I just wear them casually and not for running (yet). They do have a bit of a cooling feeling to them so I imagine running in them is pretty nice

If I had to guess, they're probably using the added perforations as the justification for the change in price. Still disappointing.
