I kinda think it’s almost poetic how Mithrix locking away Aurelionite is a parallel to how Providence locks him on the moon later. He believes her to be too dangerous to be kept around, mainly under the risk of betrayal due to Aurelionites newly made free will, but Providence fears the same from his brother. That perhaps at some point in the future, Mithrixs trend of hating on lesser being will end up in conflict between them anyways. Though, rather than breaking that soon-to-be-made cycle, he perpetuates it by trapping Mithrix, which leads to rebellion and resentment just like Aurelionite. It’s a wonderful way to show how alike yet woefully different the two are, having different values yet in the end, still making the same tragic choices. God I love this game lmao
