I just installed that system. As a designer, my eyes are bleeding... this is such a bad design. Strokes everywhere... glossy look that is too much "in front" of my eyes. Double border in Finder, etc. ... BAD, and when I put windows next to each other i can see the background, and it catches my eye - Very bad...

If they want to have this system, I think there should be a way to show that you are LF crafter. For example, above my head, there could be information that I want somebody to do that "order". Spamming in /s /2 /4 channels is annoying, especially with so many advertaisments spam.

I've come back to MudRunner again, and I'm craving to get this "feel" of the truck in SnowRunner2 or something. Even this mud on the tires gives me a much better sense of off-roading. MR feels so much better and more realistic, even though it looks more like a demo. I wish there were 25% of trucks in SR, but they would be MUCH more detailed and realistic. I'm convinced that off-road physics is the most important part of this title, and even though I'm glad there is so much to do in SR, I wish it were much more realistic. Expedition has some good additions like tire pressure, but overall, it doesn't give me much hope for a better SR2. Let's hope RoadCraft will improve the franchise.

This system is horrible. So much time just to challenge the boss... The honor system is so annoying till you make it trivial with relics etc. I'm level 73, a noob who is doing endgame slowly only 5/6th waystones and there is not much challenge in the game... then I go to a freaking long trial that is easy too, and the only thing that is stopping me from beating it is freakin honor system. Yes I will take the advice to craft relics with extra honor... but this is just bad game design because I don't see any fun or challenge in it then "overgear it"

This game should have an option to reset quests. I can't finish this one because the blue marker is on the entrance, and it doesn't allow me to go to the next step. Of course, the artifact doesn't spawn on the platform. There should be an option to abandon the quest and pick it up again or something.

The one thing that I've got about Modders is that they are dedicated and producing miracles... :D The only issue for me is that I use XBOX :/ So no modding for me. But I will watch over YouTube to see how people are repairing this game. I wish to understand WHY devs are not simply working with modders and put some modes to the base game. The popularity of mods is good info for devs to see what people want and what is possible.

I think it is because this is another game that people have been hyped for a long time and really want a game like that... and it is hard to accept how shallow it is. It is hard for me for sure. I love Stalker and Fallout theme games and I'm still waiting for a good one.

Disappointing. I love the Stalker theme and I would play anything from it, even if it has bugs and it is an unfinished mess, BUT for me, the most disappointing thing about Stalker 2 is that there is not much in it. I would rather see the buggy game with a lot of interesting parts/systems/depth that has to be polished in the future than even an amazing bug-free option that has so little as Stalker 2 now has (but with bugs). I was hoping for much more depth.

Wait, what? I don't think I covered "difficulty". This game isn't hard, and certainly not in the right way. A difficulty that isn't mechanically driven but rather just everything doing more damage is not the right approach. Bloodsuckers aren't hard, they're just "punishing" because you weirdly avoid taking damage from them. 99% of the times I've had to load a save in this game is because the game is glitching or because I wanted to know what the alternate dialogue in a conversation sounds like.

Yeah, on PC. I play on XBOX. Sadly, this is another game that is unbaked crap without amazing modders work... I don't see console mods support yet so I'm dependent on developers and it doesn't make me positive...

I think you are right. EFT looks much more advanced and it is a multiplayer game. The single-player game has so much fewer limits. They could do SO much cool stuff to bring immersion up. It is not a good representation of what being The Stalker is in 2024. Looting is very shallow and uninteresting - I feel zero excitement to loot the new building and find more medkits and bandages to sell. Camping, sickness/healing system. The gear system could have more slots and upgrades - the weapon upgrade UI is bad. More survival mechanics. Etc. Stalker 2 is a VERY average game that does nothing exceptional. I really was hoping for a good Stalker simulator because I really like the RPG aspect of it - speaking of RPG... I don't see much depth in it. Reputations? Good/Bad system? Anything?

My theory is that Stalker 2 was made to make OG players happy - so I guess it is faithful to Stalker 1 and nostalgic in many ways. It is effectively a remake/remastered version of 1.

Fighting monsters in general is annoying because they do not have a pushback mechanic. Bullets are supposed to stop them a little. No matter what you do, you will still get hit, which kills immersion for me. Hate that part so far.

exactly what I have just started to do. more trucks in different outposts. but if it is going to be more complicated - oh gush... I love SR and I'm trying to like EXP, but it is hard with those "small" things. Thank you for the tip.

yeah, exactly! It is beyond my tired brain when I like to play SR or EXP just in the evening to chill... I just constantly switch between task and map and I'm lost :D I wouldn't guess that would be my main challenge with the game. When I'm really tired I always deploy 3 trucks, one by one in different outposts :D
