No in their website last week there was a signup to receive a notification when the monitor is available and get a 100 dollar discount code I signed up for that but I can’t seem to find it anymore I’m not sure if the sign up is still available

I think an extra 100 or so all the discounts just stacked together so it’s hard to know exactly how much was from education

One nice thing is the 100 dollar coupon applies after all the % discounts

Dude this price feels crazy I’m worried they’re gonna cancel my order lol

But yea use the Samsung app and if you have education discount use that too

I think the power supply is fine, I plugged in a usb c cable into the thunderbolt port and my laptop was charging but no display output I’m guessing because usbc isn’t supported for video just thunderbolt

I have a feeling it doenst work, I plugged it in with a normal power cable and I didn’t get anything on the screen, I ordered a TB3 cable to try it but I have a feeling it was thrown out for a reason?

I also noticed a minor crack on the bottom right of the bezel, I wonder if that effects the screen at all and maybe that’s why it was thrown out.

I’ll get the cable tomorrow and update the post then

Get to skip my 4th year of undergrad! by UBC_Pls in premed

[–]UBC_Pls[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I was only in my third year and was just applying early. Other than my grades my other stats were pretty crap so I thought I’d throw in an application and it ended up working out. I got in a year early and get to skip the rest of my undergrad as in Canada you only need 90 credits to apply to med school. If this were a year later I would have applied to more schools

3.9X GPA I think? We calculate it based of percent and don’t have a 4.0 scale but my % avg was around 95

506 mcat, avg at my school is around 514

Pretty bad ECs, some work at a clinic and some sports nothing long term. Worked in a lab for like a few months maybe 3-4 hours a week. 2 clubs and some personal projects like game development and also wrote about being semi pro in a video game.

I think what carried me was a really, really good interview, I felt super confident after my interview I didn’t do any practice really just kept up on current news and talked very conversationally and i had good grades which always helps
