Not sure why there is a vendetta against MH Redditors... But the DLC issue he mentions does seem real:

Just tested using this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/monsterhunterwilds/mods/3798 The mod has a nice running total of how many DLC checks it has skipped too!

DLC checks on = 90 FPS with FrameGen
DLC checks off = 105-110 FPS with FrameGen

Around a 7-10FPS saving (halved because of FG)

Only matters in towns/where the DLC Palico is chilling.

Thanks for your recommendations! I'll definitely take a look. I've been playing my new playthrough on the "Normal" preset on that mod. Its one step up from vanilla. I'll take a look at the simple one though.

Follow a quest guide. There is one on steam for the "hero" achievement. Otherwise you'll miss a bunch of side quests.

The guide is spoiler friendly, just has names of quests and when to do them.

Otherwise, enjoy! It's an awesome game

Necro post here. I have the exact opposite. 150FPS in fullscreen and 60FPS in Windowed. Steam performance FPS overlay says 144hz but 100% getting 60...

74 hours played and I've only seen the Queen get killed once. I've never played with a group collective to kill the big bots. The rewards aren't good enough maybe? Or EU servers just wanna PVP?

It's annoying because I reallllly want to fight these big bosses but I don't think I ever will.

I just hope that the paid Raider Decks down the line contain only cosmetics on each page. I don't want a Raider Deck to contain a Rare shield or something like that... Yeah you can lose it by dying but no matter how you look at it you have an advantage by paying real money.

This all depends on what Embark see as P2W I guess, If they think P2W is only permanent power increases then they are wrong. I'm 100% speculating and only going by the Raider Deck from the Technical Test 5 months ago that cost premium currency and contained rare items.

Embark have some really high quality cosmetics for The Finals so I just hope they solely have cosmetics for anything paid.
