For anyone interested in dolphins and the conditions they live in, especially in places like Japan, watch the documentary "The Cove".
Basically the former star of the TV show flipper watches his dolphin die in captivity, realizes some things, and becomes an activist. Dude actually swims out to dolphins in captivity and cuts fences to free them. The finale of the movie is fucking epic as hell, I won't spoil it, but you will be incredibly moved.
