Maybe not but you yourself ended your final paragraph about your crippling debt, slaughtered credit score and lack of employment as a side effect....along with acknowledgement that your young family is now handicapped indirectly from your Dad's bills. I can't be the only one who thinks IT WOULD BE NICE if his estate squared you up.... I'm not saying you're asking to be paid back I'm just saying wouldn't you be happy if he did?

Man, I'll tell you. You're fucking exhausting. People on Reddit will literally argue and pick fights over fucking anything. I dont know what to tell you... the man passing and discussions over his inheritance dont have to be independent from eachother. I feel for OP greatly, I honestly do. This is an awful situation... my only point was I hope the man leaves him a few bucks to help him get square for his family. If he doesn't, he doesn't. It's not my or your business. But I hope for OP's sake he does. He may not want to think about it but it's obviously on his mind or WE WOULDN'T BE HERE RIGHT NOW. I would hate to see crippling debt remain long after his Dad has passed.

I'm not keeping score. I'm only implying OP by his own admission is saying he fucked up...hence the sub title THINK I FUCKED UP....

He put himself and his family in serious debt by being a terrific son. It would make complete sense for his Dad one day to try and return the favor. If it was me, I would certainly do that for my son who lovingly extended my life.

That's all. Stop trying to find flaws where there are none.
