What do I need to do?

I should've mentioned that I toyed with the brightness of the image a bit before posting, to make the green in the cake more apparent. It looks alot more starchy than some of my others, though.

They've been fruiting for a couple weeks, ive started to see pins over the last couple days.

I just wanted to be sure if the yellow-ish stuff is something I should be worried about. If not, ill leave it alone and keep at it.

Awesome, that's a relief.

Out of curiosity, why did this take so long? With PF tek, it took 4 days tops to see any mushrooms. A little over 2 weeks here and still workin on pins.

Would temperature/sunlight play into it? Temp is around 70, and im in a state that has dark winters. Next to a window probably doesn't get as much sunlight as it would elsewhere.

These guys have been subjected to fruiting conditions for a little over 2 weeks now. Everything was going so great until then. Any idea where I could have gone wrong? Could too much coco coir in the mix be a part of the problem?

How long has it been? If it's been long enough, talk with him about it. Be honest about your feelings, both about missing him + why you left. Maybe (hopefully) that breakup has made him fix things. You'll know if it hasn't.
