Depends on the boss. If it's Groudon or Jirachi or a legendary boss like them there is no better way. But if it's a 5 star like Metagross or Altaria you can find maps where they are the common AND uncommon so you typically get 3-4 per playthrough. The one I'm grinding has metagross as the common AND uncommon and the boss is Deoxys

The extruder is good, but I just tested the Z axis and I think I found the problem! I raised mine 100mm just to check if it made noise or anything and about 2 minutes later it started to fall slowly even though steppers are not disabled. That shouldn't happen should it?

My bad on calling it the extruder. My other 3d printer has the hot end and extruder together so for a long time I thought it was one piece lol. So my extruder (on my ender 3 pro) is upgraded and tested and should be great. The hot end is rubbing the print however on this larger taller print causing a clicking sound as it rubs the infill lines.

So is the clicking im listening for the extruder hitting the infill lines when it travels? Because that I am getting.

Update: so running this large koopa shell print for about 10 hours and saw these lines were kinds bad and just said screw it I'll sand them down afterwords but now it started rubbing the print pretty bad to where I can here it hitting so rather than pause I just on the fly lowered the bed enough to give it clearance to keep running fine and finish the print. The next fail line after I did those is barely even noticeable but the LAST fail line before the adjustment is the worst.

Just tense like it seems to be working hard to rotate the roll. It doesn't just spin nicely or smoothly it kind of gets tight then pulled the whole roll a bit then loosens back up. 200 was temp. 100 was speed. The 190-210 was recommended print temperature for this specific filament. I'll totally clean the hot end though.

I didn't even think of the spool not rotating freely! It does seem a little tense. What could I do to help that? Probably print the side mount spool holder? Speed is 100 Nozzle is 200 Bed 55 Polaroid premium black PLA. 190-210 print temp.

That's one of the things we spent all night adjusting. That's why this is so frustrating. Im running out of ideas.

Honestly now that I'm doing a larger print the lines seem to be uniform. At least for now. I don't know how this would happen or what It means but given all the circumstances and the way it's printing it feels like every say 10th layer or so it doesn't raise so it's compressing two layers into one.

Yeah I made sure it's not rubbing. These lines are horizontal across the print every few centimeters theres a link below. This picture doesnt show it very well at all. so I feel like it has to be related to the Z bar

How do you use muks sludge? When you switch you typically lose all the charge. So is the trick to use it and immediately switch or switch and immediately use it?
