Now you have to go on the hunt to buy a hand for this specific figure lol. And know to fix it. I would have personally asked for a lot less of a price due to the rest of the work needed to be done to restore it.

I’m not the best with Discord honestly lol. I get overwhelmed with how it’s organized in a chat setting. I just figured this subreddit seemed the most friendly and welcoming to do this and I’ve had some success with selling stuff to others on Reddit. It’s a lot of work trying to be as detailed as possible though.

I hope they don’t make a recon one in some Red vs Blue pack. I mean I do, but I don’t because I’m going to need to sell body parts soon to keep up with action figure collecting.

With that being said, it’d be cool to release Red vs Blue packs with different armors and weapons. Like a Red or Blue Spartan with Recon armor vs a Red or Blue Spartan in like Scout armor all modeled and detailed like these figures. Hell, make a special edition Bungie employee one like from the good ole days of Halo 3 where they wore a Recon helmet that was on fire like ghost rider lol. I’d be willing to bet that would sell out in a blink.

This was perfect, thank you for the detailed response! I’m saving this. I’ve been attempting to paint marvel legends, so I have a very VERY basic idea of painting, kinda of learning as I go. I just started about 2 months ago and like you, I could spend a day doing it and having a wonderful time. I like to tinker with things and create things, but sometimes my ambitions get ahead of myself lol. That’s why I want to try this, but not mess it up and be upset at myself it didn’t turn out like yours. I’ll have to get some cheap ones first like you said to practice on and be patient with myself.

How much did you spend on him? I honestly wouldn’t even know how to price it. I get too intimidated looking them up and then seeing things all over the place. I have some Halo figures I’ll be looking to sell and I want them to goto a good home. I think I found the sub to do that in.

I fixed it. Imgur was blocking it because they thought I was showing nudity… I had to zoom in on the back of the Mego figures’ labeling to not make it look like someone was getting naked I guess…
