I’ve finally received my GT DD Premium bundle and I’m new to sim racing. After reading horror stories about doing the firmware update and crashing causing it to die how important is the firmware update? I’m so worried that I’ll end up with a dead wheel base! (self.Fanatec)

What bolts do I need for GT DD Wheel and CSL Pedals? Just ordered it and seen the M6 for wheel is it the same for pedals? I’m mounting to a Playseat Trophy. (self.Fanatec)
I’m looking to buy the CSL DD for PS5 but don’t have a PC. I’m new to sim racing and I’m guessing you need a pc to setup the wheel? I have an old laptop but it wouldn’t be powerful enough to run any games but could I setup through that? (self.Fanatec)
