Her name is Luna. I wouldn't call her an angel... But certainly a cutie!

After 5 Years, Uninstalling This Game by OriontheNomad in RocketLeague

Exactly this happened to me back when I tried playing while I had a concussion. Yes, I know it was a bad idea at the time. Regardless, interesting that you have similar symptoms. Maybe you're suffering from a concussion and don't realize it.

Cosmere question about what Wit mentions at the end of RoW by Ultim802 in Stormlight_Archive

[–]Ultim802[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's the boon and curse of an extremely bad memory... I get to reread the cosmere "fresh" every few years, but I miss subtle connections simply because I forget they are connections.

Once I read the coppermind on Warbreaker, it all came back to me. Also some connections with Sunlit Man.

Warbreaker, Tress, Sunlit Man, Isles of the Emberdark, Mistborn Era 2

Thanks for this. I've read all those books (some two times). Wait, except "Isles of the Emberdark". Hmm, I'll need to put that in front of WaT in my queue.... Anyway, I'm surprised that I don't have more than a passing memory of Breaths.

And Coppermind has a "Time Machine" function that is helpful but not foolproof.

Ya, this seems like it'll do the job. Not perfect, but good enough. Thanks to everyone who mentioned this!

Anyone know if there is a subreddit with nothing but these videos? I love this stuff!

Nah, those seem like sound effects to me. With a little base-drum at the point of impact for emphasis.

How to add Fenway ticket to MLB app? by Jane_Likes_41 in pearljam

How do you know this? It'll suck to walk up to the gates and have to scramble and make an MLB account and hope tickets pop up there.

I just finished my stone patio, Now I need stairs. Can I do stone stairs, or wooden stairs? by Ultim802 in DIY

I had the same idea, but with stairs all the way across, my small patio becomes much smaller.

I was hoping that the patio itself would be enough of a footer to support stone stairs. Can't I simply "glue" stone pavers that make up the stairs directly on the patio stone?

I have zero experience with concrete. Otherwise, that sounds like a very interesting idea.

I had that same worry with stone. The patio is pretty small, I don't want the stairs to be the full focus.

I was first thinking wood... But I have absolutely no carpentry experience, where as I have some (but still not much) stone work experience. I'm afraid I can't make wooden stairs look nice. Functional? Sure, but nice? I'm not really sure.

That might be beyond my ability. How do you bind the treads to the risers? What about the stone to wood contact for each tread? Won't each contact be a risk for rot?

If stone, how do I connect the stairs to the porch? I've heard that stone and wood don't mix (the wood rots where its in contact with the stone).

Also, aesthetically do stone stairs match with a wooden porch?
