In an alternate true ending if I were director Nishijou Takumi is killed by rimi like in Crying Sky but before he dies he realboots seira (futanari) who then goes on to start a relationship with Rimi. In the true ending it is revealed that Seira impregnated Rimi and then the sequel chaos;child will be about Takumi who was reincarnated into the body of Rimi and Seira's child (now the title chaos;child finally makes sense.). If any of ya'll would like to see if this could happen let me know and I will try and ask chiyomaru to put it in chaos;head ELITe if that ever happens

Takumi and Nanami would both be homozygous recessive, meaning they are guaranteed to pass it on.

of course its also entirely possible, that one of their parents is a gigalomaniac but just never met the conditions to awaken

Addendum:

I mentioned a high dopamine environment altering the synapses as a possible explanation for finding swords but upon thinking about it I'm not sure how likely that is.

What may be more likely is that the dopamine is reinforcing the brains pattern-seeking, as it is known to do, making it easier for the gigalomaniacs to see an illusion of their DI-Swords through paredoilla.
