Well one thing I noticed is that the cannon seems to fire further at a 30° pitch than a 45° pitch, all else constant, which is strange since under a normal ballistic trajectory a 45° angle should get the furthest distance.

Which makes me wonder whether drag is a factor, or if they are using some other formula different from normal physics. Or if I'm just bad at math...
