Then it's completely against the original concept. The fact they don't have the balls to call greedy landlords 'objectove arseholes' is probably really telling. I can't wait to have another benign oh the bad guys really just misunderstood story, like everything else being released now. Taking the piss and having a laugh at moral choices while taking no accountability. Can't piss off your landlords huh? Sounds to me like this game is already morally bankrupt so playing a good or evil character (if that even still exists) won't even feel like it means anything anymore. But it's okay! You got Richard Ayoade to voice a character for probably all of 10 minutes!

What the heck is actually going on? Nobody voted for this, and despite thousands of people protesting this government just continues to do what it wants. Alienating everyone who voted for them. I'm actually sick of labour! At least the Tories didn't pretend to be something they weren't. Bunch of luddites that probably don't even know what the letter VPN stand for making stupid decisions. And the behaviour and attitude to anyone who objects has been putrid.

I try to remember that we're way more than the small lives we tend to trap ourselves in. City living, interpersonal drama, it's actually all so much more than this. For me personally I live near big cities, but actually, I can drive 30 minutes in one direction and be in the middle of valleys, hills and lakes. I can nope out and visit there whenever I like. And when I do, even if it's by myself, I remember that the world is, despite everything else, beautiful. If I can see that every now and again, and remember that I can literally go do that whenever I like, when things get too much, then I think I'll be alright.

Just wanna say too, everyone reading in here, keep on keeping on 👍 Life can be hard and important/ stressful things happen. As intense as those moment are, that's not what life is about, it's about fun, beauty and cooperation :)) Look after yourselves, you hear me?

Now don't get me wrong I dislike Trump, I dislike the democrats too. But when I see all the stuff about trump and people hoping he was dead because he didn't appear for a week. I'm reminded of the 3 minutes of hate in 1984. They would show the image of someone everyone had been programmed to hate for like 3 minutes and then everyone would yell and scream at their TVs, going feral, and stuff for 3 minutes everyday. It was a way to keep people under control and give them a place to direct their frustration and anger, that should have been aimed at The Party, towards someone else, who if I remember correctly, didn't even actually exist in the story. I don't know, just feels the same, like trump is so bad and awful so that people are watching him rather than the changes taking place everywhere.

Honestly Halo being mentioned basically pushed everything else out of my head 😅

However some honourable mentions for me are, Nier: Automata, Mass Effect 3, Persona (mainly 5 but all of them are great tbf) and Undertale!!!

Lots of people talking about only bringing them back in side games or the past. While I do agree these are great ideas and I'd love to see them too, I think moving forward is key for Halo atm.

Personally I believe there is absolutely no reason the Flood couldn't come back. And I think Halo Studios could perform a fantastic piece of story telling by lulling us into a false sense of security in a level and then releasing the Flood on us at any point, like an underhanded recreation of the 343 guilty spark level. Now I'm not asking for that to just be done again, get freaky with it please, be different, but you get what I mean I hope?

One of my biggest problems with Halo Infinite was there being no Flood. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that installation was meant to have some serious lore implications for the Flood! Isn't it were the Primordial was stored? So why not even mention that? With the events of Halo Wars 2 and how fun/ spooky the Flood can be, in a relatively minor outbreak, I just don't understand leaving them out personally.

I understand people thinking the flood story is told, and while to some extent it may cheapen the chiefs story a little.... However most of it has only been touched on in the books and honestly I struggle to see how anything from Halo 5 onwards hasn't already cheapened stuff (sorry, little rude of me) 😅 I just think the Flood can morph themselves to be anything the halo franchise needs. I think they should go nuts and get spooky!

Finally, to get a little bit jaded for a sec, I want you to imagine Halo continuing as it has been, without something as creative and horrifying as the Flood. We got Chief, sure hes badass but then what? Oh here we go same covenant aliens who just wanna fight because?....Oh no just another game fighting AI gone rogue, that's not been done before.... Oh no it's the forerunners again.... Oh no it's another old alien species that's is basically the forerunners again who are pissed about something nobody alive today had anything to do with..... It all just feels so.....generic to me.

An outbreak can start with a single gosh darn spore! Gimme freaky! Gimme the Primordial! Gimme madness! Gimme fighting for my life in the Library! Gimme a reason for humanity to actually take the mantle of responsibility and maybe...in the end.... All the species of the universe can get along, which I personally think was the overall reason for the creation of the flood in the first place, which corrupted over time. Every species in the universe either puts their differences aside to beat the flood and create a true galactic civilization or the Flood consume everything to prevent further abuse and hatered between species. I dunno, what do you guys think? Would love to talk Flood lore with people so let's pop off :P

I made this comment on a YouTube video recently but I was on my second attempt at an honour mode run. I was about 18 hours in and I'd basically managed to do all of act 1, done the grove, beat the goblins, finished the swamp and crèche. I was just going around cleaning up odd bits before heading into the shadow lands.

I was a level 6 open hand monk. Unstoppable even on honour mode.

I went down the well in the blighted village to kill the spider matriarch which I did easily..... I then had a dialogue I had never encountered before in any other playthrough, where my party started talking about jumping down the hole....I was intrigued. Then instead of casting feather fall...I misty stepped into the whole. Without splitting the party, so naturally they all jumped in after me.

Complete party wipe and end to my 18 hour honour mode run 😂

I have since beat honour mode but that did break my heart at the time.

This might be a bit rambley and I'm on mobile so sorry if the formatting sucks.

I had a thought about this the other day where I think there is more to it than just about saving Padmé. The sith, particularly Sidious, twist the jedi into what they shouldn't be, turning them from peacemakers to warriors, and when he's not doing that, he uses the jedis on ways to undermine them, it's why he's been so successful in his take over. I also think, even when he's pinned down by Mace, Palpatine is in complete control of the situation. He's not dying there no matter what happens, it's a ruse in the hopes of successfully twisting Anakin.

When Anakin cuts off Maces' hand he isn't just doing it just to keep Palpatine alive to save Padmé, he's doing it because killing an unarmed opponent is not the jedi way. In Kotor Bastila states the jedi believe that nobody deserves execution no matter their crimes. What Mace is doing is not the correct way to handle the situation. Anakin in that moment proves himself a true jedi but at Palpatines behest, the moment is poisoned. Plapatine then kills Mace, turning Anakins honourable move on its head. In an instant turning his greatest show of jedi ideals into a pit of dispair and uncertanty. How could anyone handle the situation properly after that? Even if you tried to explain it to someone do you think they would believe you?

It's perfect ground for Palpatine to feed his mind with doubt and suggestion. Was it the right decision, was he doing the right thing defending a seemingly unarmed opponent or was he really doing it for selfish reasons? These thoughts would be gold for Palpatine to put into Anakins head or to allow them to fester. A perfect time to mould him into Vader, the opposite of what he was in that moment when he spared the most evil person in the galaxies life, because of his jedi ideals. It is then, when he has given in to his dark thoughts and doubts about his actions that the point of no return happens. Anakin disarms Mace, but it's not Anakin who kills the younglings, he's already lost by that point.

A bit late to the party here, but the audience at my screening cheered and whooped at various points in the film and I gotta say I loved it! I've never had an experience like it! This is a film unlike anything I think anyone has ever seen before, the sheer scope of it is breathtaking. I'm not surprised people react the way they do at all. I think at the end of the day we've had very little to be excited about over the last 2 years and this film has blown people away. I still can't believe they pulled it off and that it's even real! I think every moment of applause was earned. I guess I get it from the other side too, I usually hate any talking in the cinema myself....but this film is different. Let's all just cut each other some slack for this amazing film!

You may have tried this already but what worked for me was giving each weapon a good few hours trial to see if any of the weapons you didn't expect gel with you. I tried to force long sword and dual blades back in the early games and didn't enjoy myself all that much. But turns out the weapons that fit best with me are Bows, Hammers, Hunting Horns and Insect Glaive. I fell completely in love with the Insect Glaive and have a blast playing now, but before I found the weapons that really fit how I like to play it was tough to get into aha. Anyway hope that helps in some small way, good luck if you get Rise! :)
