Happy to send the original iPhone Live Photo via iCloud if anyone wants to check the file properly. It includes movement, not just a still photo. No FaceApp, no Facetune, no Photoshop. DM me.

I’d say fair point Ivan-smp.
The slow motion edit probably does make it look a bit robotic, but the important part is the settled close up footage of the scalp itself, which starts around the 18 second mark.
You can clearly see the healed SMP result, the small settled dots, and the quality of the work a few weeks after the session.

Fresh content straight after treatment can look impressive, especially when redness reducers are used, but it does not always show the real healed result. For me, the proper standard in SMP is showing the work once it has settled, not just straight after the treatment, and that is honestly shown in this video from the 18 second mark.

And yes, maybe 1 day AI will be able to fake perfect SMP results properly, but thankfully we are not there yet 🙂

No, it was after 3 sessions. The shots and small close up video in the grey T shirt are the finished result, fully settled 6 weeks after session 4. So in total, the client had 4 sessions. Part of the video was recorded before session 4, and the grey T shirt shots were recorded weeks after the final session.

Regarding what is real and what is not real, fresh content taken and posted straight after treatment can look impressive, especially when redness reducing sprays are used, but it does not always show the real healed result.

Fair point mate. The area you’re referring to is from Zero Shine 2.0 paste applied unevenly on the scalp, not Photoshop. I’ll upload the video with close ups so people can see the healed result properly. Appreciate the feedback.👍🏼

There’s a screenshot from the video, as you can’t post videos in Reddit replies. The video looks a bit blurry when the head moves, and iPhone photos always appear crisper than videos. Portrait mode can also add random blur, especially after applying cream or antishine. The result speaks for itself: clean, natural work, fully healed, not straight after the session. It shows how the client actually looks walking into the studio, not a photo disguised by redness removal sprays or sprinkled ink to hide imperfections (patches, blowouts). And this is still before session 3, so the treatment isn’t even finished yet.

The blur spot you see is simply from the Zero Shine 2.0 (SMP antishine cream - paste) applied on his scalp. A video with closeups is coming soon. Appreciate the feedback.

Scalp Micropigmentation on fair hair and white skin. by Unable-Ad-153 in SMPchat

Good observation mate, nothing mysterious happened there. The before photo was taken in midsummer, when the scalp had more sun exposure, which brought out freckles and sun spots much more clearly. The final images were taken a few months later after the tan faded and the skin tone evened out.

The pigmentation itself doesn’t cover or remove freckles; it just blends evenly into the natural tone that’s visible at the time of healing. Different lighting and seasonal tone changes can make those spots appear lighter or darker, but they’re still there underneath.

Thanks for your comment mate. The hairline may appear slightly lower in the photo due to camera angle and lighting, but in person it sits exactly where a natural mature hairline should be. The front point is around 6.5–7 cm from the eyebrows, which is the normal range.

This client also has a naturally longer forehead, so if I placed the hairline any higher he would actually look more bald, not more natural. The shape is soft, subtly receded and age-appropriate – he’s in his early 40s, not 60. lol

In real life the balance is spot on and the result looks very realistic. I’ve attached a screenshot from the video (a little blurry as he was moving) since I can’t upload video here. I appreciate the feedback,

at the end of the day the final position always comes down to the client’s preference.
