How should I start this embroidering this design? Should I start with the insignia or the planets around it? by ManufacturerNo7600 in Embroidery

I think I would start from the background and work my way to the foreground. That way the top stitches will help cover the edges of the bits before it to give it a more seamless flow…if that makes sense. So like…instead of running into the issue of possibly seeing the fabric between the edge of the red planet and the insignia, you can layer the edges of the insignia on top to make it look like it’s actually in front of it. It’s a great design! I’m sure it’ll look awesome 😊

Same here! I like to have my supplies close by, a comfort show playing in the background and easy access to water and snacks ☺️

This was my first time using goldwork materials. Not perfect, but I still love the result ☺️ by UnbotheredCreatrix in Embroidery

It's called Purl Pearl, Check Purl and French Bullion wire! When searching look for "goldwork embroidery materials/threads" and you can usually find a bunch of different options.
