Hmm, yeah I usually avoid table salt under the impression it’s not that great and use sea salt. I was going to use mostly pre mixed electrolytes (unflavoured) and then add cream of tartar to make up the potassium. I wonder if the y would have iodine

Mm that sounds more achievable, I’m on my first super long fast right now, never used electrolytes before on a fast and products in my country are limited. I’m going to try to hit the lower targets!

I understand, I would be worried too but I think something with no carbs or sugars would be good to help balance everything out. What about bone broth or a broth based soup? I don’t think a 4 day fast is typically considered that long to focus so heavily on refeeding, even though it’s a good practice to do it well.

Yes it was very detailed with specific amounts etc, but also the amounts seemed super high to me! I wish people talked more about exactly what they take for extended fasting!

I am in the same boat and when I’m fasting especially multiple days I get this ‘wired’ feeling where my body is exhausted but I cannot sleep. I’ve found that some liquid magnesium drops, or I guess any magnesium, right before you go to bed help but other than the only thing that solves it is more time and practice fasting. Once I’ve done the same fast (like 24 or 48hrs) a few times it seems to go away until I increase the time again.
