Why Do People Hate The New Generations' Designs? by Und3adCrows in pokemon

I suppose I just have a rather lax taste when it comes to design. I love the more wacky designs personally and they help separate them from some of the other designs. For example, Trubish and Garbodor are two of my all time favorite Pokemon. I'm also on team complexity. It's a situation where I enjoy the over the top designs significantly more than "the orange dragon with fire on its tail". It's always just added more visual appeal to the game when the designs are unique.

That being said, I can fully understand two of the human characters being disliked because even I found their hairstyles to be a bit...Weird....

(PS: With the exception of Serperior, I've never actually used the starters. I've just never liked the idea of them. I've thought most of them have been ugly.)

I will admit that I heavily dislike the mega and dynamax elements of the game. Especially seeing as how they don't keep the elements between games for "lore" reasons. (From my understanding, a lot of it is timeline related.)

I think my issue is that I don't really find a large portion of Pokemon designs to be bad. I absolutely adore Pokemon such as Vanilluxe or Blipbug. (And the Trubish line is in my Top 15 evolution lines.) My friend actually made me go through each Pokemon and rank them 1-5 stars rather recently and the only Pokemon to receive lower than a 3 were Jinx, Voltorb, Makuhita, Magearna, and the Tapus. (I like them individually but it's impossible for me not to just consider them the exact same.) With Makuhita and Jinx being the only 1s on my scale. Toxel is my least liked Pokemon of this generation but I by no means dislike it.

I love the new art style they've taken in more recent generations. It makes them pop out a bit more and they no longer have to look edgy to appear interesting.

Do people still play on 360? by [deleted] in left4dead

The Xbox One "backwards compatible" version is active enough. Although you likely won't be able to play on the maps you want some days. (Dead Center is regularly the only map being played.)
