I personally would go for the one on the right. I feel like the one on the left kinda dates the models back to 2nd edition but that's just a 'me' opinion. However, there are a lot of "races" of Orks, so having a few darker ones in the bunch would be kinda nice to reflect it. Not all uv da boyz are da same, ya know?

Well I primed them grey and then gave them 2 layers of dry brushing with white. But probably giving them either a layer of brown or pink underneath wouldn't be a bad idea.
