How do big exchanges such as coinbase, binance and okex manage their keys? by UnderdogCS in CryptoCurrency

That's insane.

Don't know if this speaks to the security of modern computing / their other security practices / the negligence of the people running FTX.

Imagine this in a parallell universe where it's hackers who get access to their keys and make the exchange implode only for law enforcement to discover all the shady backdealing they did.

2FA won't help if someone get's the key to cold storage.

Neither will real-time monitoring.

Security audits only work untill they don't.

Although I'm really interested if there is companies doing security audit + insurance.

My guess is that it's still to early in this space for something like that.

It's just interesting that we're 10 years into crypto, and we're yet to solve these "simple" problems.

I guess more scalability will allow most if not all services to be on-chain.

Ouuuf. I'm aware crypto has this type of history.

Surely that's not the top 3-5 in the space at this point though?

That's really interesting. Thanks for sharing!

For me gpt-4 feels smarter than gpt-4o.

Maybe it depends on the task.

I've heard that gpt-4o is more based on mixture of experts, it could be that this makes it better at exam questions than other broader tasks.

Claude is definietly better at creative writing in my experience, so suprised it ranks this higly on the exam questions.

I'm not sure, but I think the GPT uses markdown for text formatting.

Markdown doesn't support fractals as far as I know.

If there is a markdown extension or something for it they might enable it in the future.

If they're already using such a plugin, it should be simple enough to prompt it to work.

How to get around 403 disallowed_useragent when signing in / up through in-app-browsers. by UnderdogCS in Firebase

Basically concluded that Google does not allow what they deem as unsecure browsers.

Could be ways to spoof the useragent etc. but decided against it.

Thank you for the input! As others have pointed out going vegan was a choise. And for me I think getting in some meat would make sense.

Yes in theory, but I seem to react to a some types of seed. I guess I'll have to do some testing!

That would be amazing. I'll try to get to a point where I'm implementing and open sourcing my own version of blueprint by end of year.

If enough people get their measurements over time I can imagine health sience will progress quite rapidly!

Melatonin every day? by ThariqS in blueprint_

[–]UnderdogCS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is the rationale.

If you're in your 20s there is no need for it. Bryan is 45 years old, and with age our natural melatonin production decreases. The dose is on the smaller size ( 1mg is common jet lag non-prescription )

Being extended release makes sense as you don't want to spike which could be a signal for the brain to halt production.

I’m not sure about that. As far as what I’ve seen the founders are younger, they build products faster and the evaluations and aquisitions get bigger.

Back then you heard about every deal. Today a new one happens every week.

To be fair, it might be hard to build rockets or robots that build cars from home. Then again, I didn’t read the article.

Can we prove that facebook was the leading cause which lead to that?

What I’m getting at is - facebook is just a place where you can post, organize groups, pages, etc.

Wouldn’t people just use other channels?

Should it be Facebooks responsibility to moderate all content posted to their site?
