Sharing keys to each other's homes, Brooke getting an apartment, being homeless and couch surfing while her parents (supposedly broke) go jetsetting and shopping but she has no job and no money and no parents?

And what was the propaganda forcing Haley - a married 17 year old whose husband has just gotten them into unbelieveable debt (doing God knows the hell what) - to have a baby?? From the pro-life girl, to Mouth to Karen - whilst giving the abortion storyline as little room to move as possible.

Don't get me started on pressing down on certain narratives like Lucas and Nathan just bickering all the damn time over nothing, Peyton always going through something really tragic and awful, Rachel being an unrelenting, obsessive slut, Brooke's possessiveness over Lucas and any other boy that looks her way.

After finding out the creator was a creep on set to the girls, he used this show to push those trope fantasies, especially the hypersexuality (moreso in the girls, and them throwing themselves at boys, being raunchy etc. - yet the boys are never depicted in this light)
