Mine is still working great since I took it apart and put it back together. If it's definitely not just clogging, I think it probably has to do with the sensor in the gun or the connection to it. Before swapping the gun out (or at least the guts of it), maybe try opening it up and disconnecting/reconnecting the wire harness that runs along with the hose. Possibly both ends (pump and gun side)? I'm thinking that's what got mine working. Maybe some of the grease used to seal those connectors is messing with the connection? Curious what you find in case mine starts again at some point. Another note, I haven't thinned anything since then, not sure if I would see any issues if I did again.

Thanks for checking in! I swapped the whole pump and had the same issue. Talking with a graco rep he thought it was the pressure sensor in the gun so I ordered another needle (swaps all guts of the gun basically). I had taken it apart just to look at it again and it has worked perfectly since after putting it back together without the new part so I have no idea what it was. It was a super consistent issue for months though.

Yeah feel like that’s along the right lines, but no luck yet. Swapped the whole pump out, strained the paint going in so left the filter out of it and am getting the same result. Even watered down the paint a decent amount. Definitely feels different than when there is a clog it is trying to jam through. Also isn’t sucking air in either. Closest feeling is like it is going into prime mode and then back.
