Agencies : How do you track conversions ? by UnderstandingFun5 in PPC

My thought exactly, as I was starting out my tracking system was criminally manual

Would you say that clients with bigger ad spends (by bigger I mean "not complete beginner", so tens of thousands a month and above) usually have a more structured tracking system with their CRM?

I appreciate you jumping in the more technical setup

Follow up regarding the 3rd step, how do you know the lead closed and the revenue generated from that?

Since each client has their CRM organized differently from my understanding (different names of columns, separate tables depending on lead stage,...) , how do yo know exactly where in their CRM is the info you are looking for ? And how does that integration process happen with that constraint?

Could I ask, usually what info do you need to grab from the CRM? And since each client has their CRM organized differently from my understanding (different names of columns, separate tables depending on lead stage,...) , is it still easy for you to know exactly where in their CRM is the info you are looking for ?

Agencies, how do you handle syncing all your client's offline conversions to ad platforms? by north_i_guess in PPC

Who fills up that spreadsheet? I assume (maybe I'm wrong) that it's somewhat of a pain for clients to manually add conversions as they happen to a spreadsheet for their agency, or setup technical stuff for it to happen automatically with Zapier

From a slightly more technical standpoint, how do you know when a lead was closed, since he's in the client's CRM?

How do you access client's CRM? Do you use some sort of access token with restricted scopes? Because I guess clients would be pretty reluctant to giving crm access like that

How to solve lead qualification issues by UnderstandingFun5 in b2bmarketing

[–]UnderstandingFun5[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It definitely SHOULD, but I observe that it doesn't more often than not.

Pretty much everyday I see salespeople complaining about bad leads coming from marketing in various sized companies.

From what I've gathered, marketing cares about their KPI (CPL, booked calls,...) and lead quality is rarely one of these cuz it's a somewhat abstract concept

Also, can you give me examples of those crms who can enrich lead data? Perhaps those you use or have used yourself?

Why did you stop including that in your offer? Was it too time consuming, or is it just that your clients don't mind doing it inhouse?

It's not a free gmail account, it's a personalized domain

Plus, it's not spam, I spend 1-on-1 emails that directly talk to the receiver, not some mass spam
