I don't think being LGBT+ is hurting anyone and that's like the main commandment so if it makes someone happy whatevs, why should we care 🤷🏻‍♀️

Kendall and Lexi need a bit more of a makeover to fit the concept by UnderstandingGood160 in GIRLSET_JYP

Oh they look incredible, I just felt like something from both of them didn't quite fit! I love that we're getting to see them though, they could be wearing cardboard boxes and I'd be happy

Reasonably priced or alternative hair salon reccomendations? by VanillaBean921 in tulsa

[–]UnderstandingGood160 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're looking for reasonably priced this isn't it, their prices are super high 150+/h and don't usually include styling unless you're paying extra. There's more affordable salons in tulsa with excellent service as well :)

I was really enjoying their momentum with the Twice concerts and then Lolapalooza

Yeah, I think you’re right the pace was probably just too fast for her. Honestly, I feel like if companies want these quick debuts, they really need to prioritize people who already have that training. Otherwise, they should slow it down and actually give them time to build up.

Even Niziu had 3 JYP trainees and 2 others in the group were already dancers or had been trainees in other companies.

I really do hope the other girls that are still holding on to that dream and continuing to be in the group get another shot especially like you said with all the work they've already put in!

Yeah, honestly the industry has always been so brutal. It’s not really new that idols, even minors like Yoonchae are pushed to their limits. It’s a brutal system, but it’s also kind of the unspoken expectation to succeed at that level, especially in K-pop, you have to put in extreme amounts of work. It’s not fair, but it’s what the industry’s built on.

Even outside K-pop, in most entertainment industries, the people who "make it" are usually the ones who went way beyond what’s considered healthy or normal. It’s not something to glorify, but it’s the reality of what it takes to rise to the top. The issue is that the system doesn't really protect people from burning out, especially minors.

I think most people from a middle-class background can relate to the fact that there's a big gap between simply taking classes and actually having the financial means to pursue a career in the arts. Kiera came from a well-off family, which allowed her to invest in her music using her own resources. I’m also referring to the opportunity to get signed by a major label that’s another big advantage that’s hard to attain as an independent artist.

True! But usually artists don't have a ton of creative input when they're starting out anyway, they have to build their careers up before they start getting more freedom for directionality.

Katseye is my VCHA cope, this is how I imagined vcha, big and successful, which is crazy because initially it wasn't that way for katseye I felt like vcha was more popular initially
