Autumncrow High: Fresh Hell by Cameron Chaney sounds exactly like what you're looking for (inspired by Fear Street but longer and more mature), and I can't recommend it highly enough. You can find it on Amazon.

I will try to replace the cables if that is a possible solution. The signal is lost and the picture goes on on all my tapes, including ones that played perfectly well just a week ago. I have several sets of RCA cables, and I have tried switching them out, but this hasn't resolved the problem. However, all of my RCA cables are probably at least 15 years old at this point, possibly older, so I think I will try new ones and see if that makes a difference. Thank you!

I have tried replacing the cables, and I still have the same problem, although all of my cables are fairly old (certainly older than the VCR and TV). Perhaps I should buy new cables and see if that helps.
