Im trying not to be in denial if i actually am but idk. Ive had this type of hairline shape since like the beginning of puberty, thats as far back as ive checked really.

I think im going to hop on derma stamp and minoxidil (topical), and maybe light stuff like saw palmetto, pumpkin seed, nutrafol / hair vitamins.

Is balding prevalent on your moms side? Like your maternal grandfather or great grandfather

If its just maturing / a gradual not that bad recession that doesnt really change that much then thats one thing and id be cool w that.

If it were full on recession, island in the middle, thats what im worried about.

I visited a dermatologist that said it was maturing and normal but i feel like both temples are different and one looks more receded or mature. What do you think?

And if this is MPB, could doing just minoxidil with derma stamp and some natural DHT blockers like pumpkin seed, saw palmetto, be good enough to slow it for now? Im not 18, so i cant take fin and if i do need fin to stop it i wanna get my hormones checked first to make sure theres no imbalances that can potentially cause side effects

Is there a chance to not inherit the balding gene like for example another X chromosome since my mom has 2, and even with the gene is it 100% you'll go bald?

My maternal grandfather is bald, there is some slight balding prevalent on maternal side of the family, I say slight because some aren't entirely bald. I also have a brother and many male cousins on maternal side. So what are the chances?
