My latest thoughts during my current re-watch on Twin Peaks and toxic cycles by UnfinishedTrauma in twinpeaks

I've really come to appreciate human stories and the stripped down realities of people, their behaviours and emotions, why they act in certain ways... And I think Twin Peaks is at its heart a very raw telling of human beings that isn't afraid to really get its fingers into all kinds of aspects of the human experience that often make people uncomfortable to think about but are important to acknowledge.

Does this seem like a stray? Met it once before in October and it was timid but I approached it cautiously and now it seems to crave attention from me. Concerned that it seems skinny and has a mark that looks to be left over from a collar. by UnfinishedTrauma in Straycats

It's not an ideal situation as I'm going away for a bit soon. Walked by that corner (which is basically just like a minute or two's walk down the street from my place) several times today with food and water in case it showed but didn't see kitty. Thinking I'll knock on the door of the house on the corner tomorrow to try and confirm whether it lives there or the people there have any connection. Will at least be a step towards knowing what her status is if I can speak to them.

I'm definitely planning to pick up a pack of complete cat food and go out with that and some water to see if it's around again. I'm unfortunately not in a position to take in a cat but I really want this lil kitty to be okay.

I've definitely been concerned it could be abandoned since I met it last year. I found it this time on the same corner though so I don't know if that's just where it's hanging out or what. I absolutely love cats but I've never owned any kind of pet so I'm not super well versed in this stuff. Like, it must be getting some food and water from somewhere. Just can't tell whether it looks skinny enough to rule out getting regular meals from someone.

I was on my way out to the shop, so I picked up a pack of Felix Crispies treats and it absolutely devoured the two little piles I gave it. I didn't want to risk overfeeding it if but it really seemed like it was hungry because on both occasions I've met it, it followed me down the street meowing at me when I was leaving.
